Albania

This upcoming summer I have been given the opportunity to travel to Albania for a missions trip.

Joel and Cheryl Davis are leading the trip and they will be there all summer long loving on people and blessing them. This will be their fourth year to go to Albania and have graciously invited other revivalists such as myself to be part of what God is doing in Albania. My plan is to spend 3-4 weeks serving with them in Albania.

The VISION: What does it look like?

We believe we have been called to the open door in Albania to co-labor with God and spark off revival, a passionate love transformation, that will spill beyond political borders into Europe, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East and beyond. Albania is poised on a tipping point for such a time as this. We see the hopes and dreams of nations coming alive as they walk in the glory of their destiny.

MISSION: How do we do this?

Jesus called us to disciple nations. Where God calls, God empowers. We do this with radical love. We see everyone as Christ sees them and we call out the gold. We are learning to accomplish this mandate by bringing cultural transformation to the sevens mountains of society (education, government, religion, family, arts and entertainment, media, business) and serving in these areas to align them with Kingdom influence. We equip and empower the body of Christ to walk in the normal Christian lifestyle that Jesus did, claiming the promises of God that ‘even greater things’ we will do. We are an answer looking for a problem. We carry the King and His Kingdom everywhere we go, so that ‘it is on earth as it is in Heaven.’

Listed below are some of the things we will be partaking in while there.

Ministering at an orphanage north of Tirana
Ministering in a prison in Tirana
Ministering in several local churches
Working with young people in church groups and in youth bible study groups
Putting on programs in local public school, working with Roma children
Street ministry (treasure hunting, worship in the park, loving on the homeless)
Meeting with people of influence in the country (business, education, government, etc.)
Training young leaders in starting house churches

I'm really looking forward to this trip because it is an opportunity for me to be submissive to God and let Him use me for His will and radically change the lives of other people. I know God has called me to the nations of the world and this trip will help me be more sensitive to His voice and rely fully on the Holy Spirit in an uncomfortable environment. This will be a life-changing trip, not only for Albania but also for me.

I'm writing this post because I need your help with funding for my trip.
I'm looking for people to partner with me on this trip so I'm asking you to donate just $10 to be part of what God is doing in Albania. While I'm there I will be taking photos and blogging about what's happening and what I see God doing.
